Holy CRAP! The Year In Review Pt. 4 and final 2012 is already here!
I can't believe that we are already 13 days into 2012. Man where is the time going? It seems like time and space are moving even faster than the speed of light. Is it all the technology the constant barrage of marketing or is just information overload? I personally think it's all of the above. It's amazing yet tragic at the same time if that makes any sense. I guess will just have to press along and see what's around the corner.
Well enough of my pontificating I wanted to give you my final dose of the year that was 2011 for me. 2011 was the year of bad hairdos for me. In my infinite wisdom of wanting to have my hair long again, I decided to just let it go and yes indeed it went and boy was it BAD! Below are some brief glimpses into the insanity of which was my hair in 2011. I know yuck it up as much as possible, you don't have to live with those images the rest of your lives, I do! :(
2011 was also a big year for traveling for me. I was incredibly blessed and honored to have traveled to some amazing locations. From South America I was in Bolivia which was a place that was very near and dear to my heart. It was a great experience and the people are very humble so it was a pleasure.
I was also in the Carribean this year on a couple of occasions and had the pleasure of traveling via ship which was a really cool experience. We visited Nassau, St. Thomas, Tortola, Half Moon Cay, Cozumel, Ocho Rios & Grand Turk. I had the pleasure to work along side some big names in music and relax at the same time, it was simply AMAZING! Below is a brief re-cap of sights from those travels. Can't wait to do it again in 2012.

Holy CRAP! The Year In Review Pt. 3
I'm here today on my final day here in North Carolina before heading back to LA feeling kind of melancholy. For one I hate leaving my family for one and also leaving NC as well. It is so peaceful over here and very tranquil. Sometimes almost too tranquil. But I feel this is the place I can come to and recharge the batteries before heading back into the chaos. It's a good chaos don't get me wrong but one that sometimes require a disconnect even if I am never truly disconnected. So with that deep thought LOL, I will get back to the matter at hand in continuing my series of the years events for 2011 I like to call, "Holy CRAP! The Year In Review Pt. 3."
So I had the opportunity this year to perform with some artists mainly from the Latin world which is funny on to itself. Cause part of the reason I originally left Miami to begin with was to get away from all the Latin music stigma that has unfortunately plagued Miami for so many years in my opinion. There is a whole other music scene there that's pretty damn good but the unfortunate stereotypes still loom large there and it's sad quite frankly, but I digress.
So I find it ironic that now I have done shows with these artists some HUGE in their genre and even more ironic that I work directly with a Latin artist Ignacio Val. So I always felt like Al Pacino in Godfather III when he utters the classic line, "Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in" always runs across my mind when I get to do these events.
So below are some pics from some of those performances. These were for 3 artists in particular, Paty Cantu, Anahi & Christian Chavez. One was at an outdoor event in Los Angeles and the other two were for a TV taping.

One of 2011's highlights for me also has been the opportunity in being able to work with one of the greatest guitarists in music Jazz great Norman Brown. I've had the pleasure now of working with Norman on various projects throughout the past year and have been given the privilege to help him out now on a few of his shows this past year that have taken me to various countries so for that I am incredibly thankful and I look forward to continuing working with him in 2012! Below is a shot with us on the Jazz Cruise back in January.
Here with Comedian Alonso Bodden, Norman Brown & Tower Of Power Vocalist Larry Braggs
Well that's it for now. I will have my next update very soon. Hope all of you are having a great holiday thus far. Much love and respect. Eric

Holy CRAP! The Year In Review Pt. 2
Well I'm back for my second installment of my year in review. I've been here holed up in the beautiful rural part of North Carolina recharging the batteries with the family for the holidays but yet still hard at work on the never ending projects that are my life!
I just did an interview last night with Cyrus Webb and his show Conversations Live. It was very cool so many thanks to Cyrus and his staff for a great time. You can check out my interview right here below.
I have been very blessed as well to get back on track this year on my album 'Delusions Of Grandeur'. For me it is my reintroduction as an artist. There have been so many things that have happened along the way these past 10 years since the release of my last record, that I'm looking at it as a time to refocus my efforts as an artist and I'm very excited to finally get working on finishing this record. For me I personally feel like I am coming out for the very first time again as a solo artist so I am taking this time to build everything from the ground up to take this to the next level. Below are some recent pics as well as some video footage of me in the studio doing vocal takes on one of my tunes from the upcoming record called 'Stargazer Lily'. I'm so pumped for this record to finally come out and I really can't wait for everyone to hear it.
I'm also very excited about a new band that I am working with from Australia called Satellite Sky. They are an Indie Rock act that has some great tunes that I simply cannot get out of my head and plan on seeing to it that big things are happening for them in 2012! Below is their video for 'With You' from their self-titled debut EP. This is a great introduction as to what's to come for them. We beginning pre-production on a debut album for them in the new year. Check 'em out and let me know what you think.
The other BIG project that is finally starting to take shape is Latin Pop-Rock sensation Ignacio Val. I have been working with Ignacio for the past 3 years now. And it has been simply amazing how far we have come on this project.
We just completed work on his debut album which is simply STUNNING! We have a hit record on our hands as far as I'm concerned. We have assembled a team that is unmatched in the music industry right now.
His story has been building slowly and is ready to explode in 2012! I'll have some more updates coming in the near future. Below are shots of him from his triumphant show in front of his home town crowd in La Paz and the work that he is doing as an ambassador for World Vision | Vision Mundial Worldwide. I'm very proud of him...
That's for now, but stay tuned as I will have more updates coming on my year end review. Hope you all are staying warm out there cause it's cold as hell over here. Many blessings to you all... EK

Holy CRAP! The Year In Review Pt. 1
Hello one and all. Holy CRAP! I can't believe it's been since February since my last posting on here. Wow, I'm totally embarrassed. I vowed to be on this shite like nobody's business but of course in this new day and age in technology there are just too many distractions between tweeting, facebooking, emailing there is just too much to keep up with and frankly it has taken it's toll.
So again I will attempt in short burst of prose to update you or whoever is reading to update you on what has been going on in my world since my last transmission. So as I sit here at MIA airport waiting to see my family in North Carolina, I will update you once I land and get settled in on new happenings and just general nuttiness in my life. Until then: peace, love & happiness...
Blessings
Eric
